journey from east to south
i started my journey to the south when i am selected for the teaching profession by the RUB in the year 2010. i have no idea about any of the place in the southern region since its my first journey. without having any information of the place i chose Samtse college. after that i was tensed that with whom i will go to that place and who will be my friend down there. i worried a lot after choosing Samtse as my college but my Ani said why r you worrying that much? you will get everything from there, they have big Bazaar. but still i inquired many of my friend from my class who got selected for teaching profession but they all chose to go to Paro college. then i called other and got some information about some schoolmate who qualified for secondary B.Ed in Samtse. So my worries went off hearing that there are some who chose My College and i made a call to one of my still friend Neten Zangmo and Sangay Wangmo to get Bus Ticket for me so that i can go with them. They agreed and they confirmed me the date of our Journey and it was on 16th March 2010 where i met one gentle man who is very talkative. he was my sit partner. he asked me a lot but my response was very limited to his question. he was also traveling for the first time to the south. in mid of our conversation he asked me where are you going? i said Samtse college and i asked him what about you? then he smile and said Samtse college. after that we became friend and had many funny conversation. i still remember his word when he was receiving call from his uncle " nga ni me lek to no choeth ki Samtse ni....pura duth pa ge gang tshar tey yoe......." something like this. and also he said that we don't have to feel said that we haven't reach in foreign countries like others because we reach some part of India and this is also a foreign country.
and this gentle man was not other then our opposition leader Jigme Tenzin.
after reaching here i looked for the big Bazaar but i could not see that BIG BAZAAR. i thought that the BIG BAZAAR will be somewhere in the distance from the Bus station. then passenger they started to unload their luggage from the bus and one tall man he started unload the bus. after finished unloading he is saying something (nepali/hindi) but i didn't understand what he said. i just give him a blank look. then i asked one of the passenger to explain and a grandmother said he is asking for money for unloading the luggage..........she gave him ten rupee..........
vow!!!!!! it really took me back to days of my first journey to this college same like you and Interesting one dear
